Rude staff but good facilities...

Liked: Location was good, parking always available ($10 per day), free coffee all day.
Disliked: Rude staff. Watch out for the breakfast lady! You better not slip and put something in the wrong place. She will let you know in a condescending way and give you a bitter stare down. Very uncomfortable. Breakfast food would get 4/10. For some reason our room was always damp unless the AC was on constant. Windows for fresh air would be nice. Refrigerator light bulb was out. Small details, but adds up. Seems the staff was either lazy or disorganized as we had to ask repeatedly for items lacking in the room like pans, hangers, and shower gel. Lastly we asked for check out extension, which was granted after the staff got the manager to approve it, but then we were called to check out sooner because the late checkout “was never approved.” They said we would have to pay extra to check out later. Had to fight to keep my late check out which I did not appreciate.

Liked: Overall it was a good stay. I liked the breakfast, very clean area and when I spilled my coffee they were very nice. Front desk staff was pleasant. The important parts of the room were clean. I do think the room could use a deep clean, cabinets polished and floor tile deep clean as well as corners of the room and the carpet. I did get some dirt on the wipes I use to sanitize areas of the room before use of those areas like the desk and desk chair covered before sat on it Maybe use a stainless steel spray to clean those areas. The lady that refreshed the room on the 3rd day did a good job. The mattress could be replaced with a firmer mattress. Bedding clean. The kitchen area was clean, the fridge was clean. TV worked well with good cable selections and choices. Shower was good with hot water but again could use deep clean corners and flooring. Hallways did not smell fresh. I did not use any of the amenties. Overall it was a good stay.
