Good

Liked: Concierge was lovely. The young man on duty printed my boarding pass.
Disliked: Coffee was not good. Recommend Keurig for rooms, and Columbian for breakfast.

Exceptional

Liked: The staff here were amazing. Make sure to do the Wednesday night social if you're here on a Wednesday and chat with Michael the bartender. He is great at giving advice on what to do while you're in Charleston and he's a super friendly guy. John and Dave were also very personable and chatted with us whenever we ran into them.
Disliked: Could have done a better job cleaning the room. Left the garbage under the sink full every day.

Overall it was excellent. But...

Liked: Very clean and comfortable. Well kept outdoors. Enjoyed the pool. The breakfast bar was well stocked and the bar and tables were very clean. Front desk staff and valet was great.
Disliked: The only bad interaction was with a member of the dining room staff. It was embarrassing and totally disrespectful. The attendant yelled from several feet away in a crowded guest dining area for me not to reach across the cold bar and when I dropped a fork in the floor she yelled mam bring that to me. When I placed the fork on the counter in front of her instead of handing it to her she walked away and very loudly yelled rude. When I went to the front desk and the supervisor walked back to the dining area the staff member was extremely loud and defensive. She walked away and said she didn’t have to listen and I could talk all I wanted to. The supervisor apologized and assured me the incident would be documented.

Good facilities but very expensive.

Liked: The size of the room and the room facilities were excellent.
Disliked: The cost was very high compared to other locations on our trip which took some pleasure away from the experience.

Great location but that’s it

Liked: Location is great for king street walking.
Disliked: I stayed in a 2 queen room. One of the beds mattress was very sunken. I took a photo as it was visibly noticable. Also the hotel front desk said for me to inquire about early checkout same day and that it was first come, first serve. I called at 7:30am to request and the woman who answered said she was just getting in and I needed to call back at 8. I called back and she provided 30 min late check out. Housekeeping came into my room unannounced at 10:50am. Not acceptable.
