Nice hotel but had some...

Liked: Hotel location was very convenient to many of the area tourist spots. Breakfast had many options.
Disliked: At night there was loud equipment of some sort. One night we did not have hot water but was fixed as soon as we noticed the front desk.

Convenient location

Liked: Everything is always great. Breakfast used to be good but the time we were there not so.
Disliked: BREAKFAST was not good. Ran out & not replenished to well. Food was lukewarm. Super disappointed & ate breakfast elsewhere towards end.Previous visits it was excellent.

I prefer Hilton Hotels, however...

Liked: The room size was great; the bed was very comfortable; the location was convenient; the exercise facility was awesome, hardly used and convenient to our room.
Disliked: Mandatory Valet Parking only @ $35/day was never mentioned to us, so we were not prepared. The gentleman that checked us in was rude, it was late, we were tired as we had gotten married and traveled in from NC. We were charged 2 weeks prior to our stay 1/4 of the full amount. Upon check in the balance was charged, and at check out another $141+ added. We did not add anything to our room. We were told we would receive a $351.00 credit (never did), We requested top floor; we were on 2nd; Check in man argued they never received the request and demanded to see the email (phone was in car). He then had the audacity to ask did I want to stay or go elsewhere! Knowing we had no choice this late. Our room was not cleaned on day 2 (our stay was for 3 days) and we had to request towels being told to come down to get them, gather our own trash bags and request new bags. Our heat did not work properly (it was on a standby setting); we were told to use a blanket or we could move to another room! We were told they had a cancellation when we advised him we were told nothing was available upon check in. We used a blanket and told Maintenance would be in at 8am. It was repaired when we returned later that afternoon; but we had the same problem the next day. Maintenance came with several different men and finally told us it was a "main system" problem and nothing they could do! Breakfast was very good the first morning, however they were running low of most everything and didn't have the staff to keep up. We had to request items. We did not eat breakfast on day 2 as it was so crowded and out of everything! We paid to have breakfast but had none 2nd day! Day 3 (check out) the breakfast was absolutely atrocious! Grits were runny and uncooked; scrambled eggs hard and something large & yellow - I complained at checkout about our stay, The woman only said "Sorry". No pens, paper or area info; TV schedule, etc, in room.

I would have expected better...

Liked: The breakfast was very good. The front desk people were pleasant and helpful.
Disliked: The pool was not in order and it wasn’t mentioned on their website or Booking. I checked before we went. This was one of the reasons we booked this hotel because they had a heated pool and we have a 13 year old that would have enjoyed swimming during our down time. The bar was not open when the times were specified. We tried to go have a drink a few times and it wasn’t open. The laundry facility only had 2 dryers and one was broken.

Liked: Rooms are spacious, clean. Staff is going extra mile in everything.
Disliked: Breakfast options are very repetitive every day. Seems like there was shortage of fresh boiled eggs for breakfast for the 5 out of 7 nights we stayed. Additionally no tea packets.
