Located within walking distance of Assembly Hall on the U of Illinois campus. Clean and nicely appointed rooms. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Disliked: 1. Poor customer experience - Staff asked us to shift to another room at 10pm because he allotted us incorrect room (later agreed for shifting next day morning) 2. Poor breakfast spread - no fruits or yogurt. The limited items on offer were running out with delayed replenishments. We had to skip poor breakfast at hotel and have outside at own expense.3. It was informed that housekeeping is done alternate day, but no housekeeping done during 3 day stay in 402

Liked: Check in was quick, efficient and friendly staff. Everything was clean. Room was great! Whole place seemed quiet. Location was in a busy area but we were not bothered by any traffic noise. Walking distance to a nice restaurant and convenience store. Great breakfast with hot food items.

Liked: Nice and helpful staff, spacious room, tea/coffee/hot choc on offer always, good breakfast and good location
Disliked: No secure compound of it’s own as it is just the building

Pleasant overnight stay, I probably...

Liked: There wasn't much I could eat due to dietary restrictions.
Disliked: Whoever cleaned our room prior to our arrival was just phoning it in. Previous occupant had left clothes in the dresser and they were still there. There weren't any pillows for the fold out couch bed. The kitchen supplies were missing several items.This last one is just my personal preference, I like to find a folder with info about local restaurants, etc. there was nothing, not even a pen & paper.
