Lovely hotel in good location for marathon weekend

Liked: Modern, clean, comfortable bed
Disliked: Swimming pool changing facilities, and children always in the pool. Adult only times would be good

Exceptional

Liked: Breakfast was plentiful with hot and cold options. Sea district wonderful to view water from hotel room.

Boston Hilton Seaport Area

Liked: Went to watch the Marathon which was brilliant. The day was warm and sunny and everyone was in a happy party mood. We also took in a trip to see The red sox game. The hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly
Disliked: Hotel was a bit far from Boston centre but taxis were available. Visited Quincy Market with its various food stalls. I ended up with food poisoning from eating Chinese fried rice. ( AVOID) It ruined the last 2 days of my holiday. Apart from that it was well worth a visit. Did a guided tour of Salem which was very informative.

Liked: Two rooms for breakfast was genius!
Disliked: I wish we couldve gotten a room with two queens. The sofa bed was useful but not very comfy.

Liked: Breakfast surpassed our expectations . We had 3 days of breakfast and the menu was different each day. Healthy choices, many fresh fruit. The beer station is a good idea but not if you have to re-activate your beer card every day. We had a beer credit at the end of our stay that should have been credited on our final bill
Disliked: The front staff were very curt, not welcoming except for one gentleman who was warm and did not make us feel that we were intruding. As we were there during the Boston marathon there should have been a shuttle (at a fee) to bring the runners in the morning to the site
