Would definitely would stay there...

Liked: Room Was clean and comfortable. Shower/tub was great, kitchen in suite was great
Disliked: Watching TV was difficult to get to our own apps.

Check in was also difficult...

Disliked: Was disappointed in the operation of the air conditioner. Didn't realize the thermostat temperature was based on a sensor and had to get help bypassing this sensor. We would set temp to 69 and in a few hours the temperature would go back up to 73. Not good for sleeping at night.

Refusal to accommodate or call...

Liked: The property itself is fantastic. Everything was at least meeting expectations in areas and exceeding in others. I did like the breakfast that my husband brought up to the room, taste wise. It was all in all, a beautiful property.
Disliked: The staff were extremely rude when asked to make accommodations at check-in. Booking dot com does NOT make customers aware of the $25 incidentals fee the hotel INSISTS on charging you at check-in. Most normal places only ask to put a card on file, so not only was this STRICTLY enforced policy a complete surprise but also very off-putting. I have never had to pay for incidentals AHEAD of time. When asked if exception could be made since I was not made aware of this policy ahead of arrival, the front desk girl refused to accommodate OR call a manager about the issue. To be able to check in without bothering anyone of our friends or family, we would have needed to leave the property almost immediately upon arrival to travel to the nearest reload center for cash app, loaded money onto my card, came back and then we could check in. However, as we were in town for a specific event that had a set start time, we did not have the option to leave and remedy the balance to satisfy this unusual policy…this forced my hand into calling my father to bail me out. I do not like to do this. Ever. It goes against my moral code and makes me feel downright icky. Thanks to the WONDERFUL staff at the front desk, I was put in this situation anyway. Honestly, it was her refusal to call a manager that really irked me. I have since filed a report with the BBB, AR ATTY General’s Office and the Federal Trade Commission. IF there is a MANDATORY, no exceptions, policy at the location I’m thinking of booking, THIS POLICY SHOULD BE CLEARLY STATED IN LARGE, BOLD PRINT, PRIOR to booking on the website. I insisted that she speak with her manager about policy reform to either include the information in the booking dot com page for their property or to include exceptions for people in my exact situation. I also think it’s important to note that because I asked for this accommodation, the front desk employees were retaliatory and vindictive from that point forward.

We would stay here again!

Liked: We did not utilize the breakfast facilities. This property was a big disappointment.
Disliked: Let's begin with the directions. It was far too difficult to pick out Homewood Suites in the ocean of similar properties in the area. The room was on the third floor (too high) and located at one end of the horseshoe (too long a trip) for two 65 year olds. I requested a soft mattress adn was told it would be accommodated. It wasn't. And the room was filthy - my wife walked around in socks during our overnight stay and the socks were totally dirty from one night and one morning. How crazy. There were so many shortcomings at Homewood, I couildn't begin to touch on all of them, but my wife would love to try. We will not be visiting another HS. We will stick to the tried and true Double Tree and know we will be happy.

Liked: We stayed in a king suite with a separate lounging area, which we like. The full breakfast was delicious, with lots of choices. Our room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. There were extra blankets in the closet. We would stay here again.
