Perfect in every way

Liked: We returned after coming in January , we love this place so much, everything about it is perfect and beautiful
Disliked: It’s difficult to fill the kettle due to the bathroom tap design ….

Exceptional

Beautiful place, would do it...

Liked: Gorgeous hotel, beautiful grounds, lovely spa, really kind and warm staff. Good food and sizeable portions too!
Disliked: Not to say that it’s overpriced, but not a bargain either. We also were very underwhelmed by our spa treatments (massages).

Comfortable and relaxing

Liked: Bed was so comfortable Room was warm and welcomingLovely lounge with a glorious open fire.
Disliked: Ok for vegans but felt there could be a little more effort. We had to have the same evening meal each night. The same breakfast each morning.

Outstanding

Liked: The main reason for giving 10/10 is the exceptional service received. Reception and the restaurant teams were absolutely faultless and had a really personal vibe. We would book again based on the experience & the fact they also went the extra mile for our pup! Also it’s rare to find outdoor jacuzzi pools that are actually warm enough so never change it, it makes all the difference at a spa :) also amazing food/chef.
Disliked: We switched rooms so no issue in the end, very happy, cosy mews rooms are too small with a dog so they need to advise that online.

Superb

Wonderful - we got engaged...

Liked: Fantastic breakfast and little extras in the room such as Dyson hairdryer, bottled water and chocolate brownies! Unbeknown to us we were given the Honeymoon suite so we were blown away by the size of the room and the lovely bathroom
Disliked: The water in the hydro pool was much colder than we were advised that it would be and noticeably colder than it was the last time we visited.
