Liked: Winter storm warning was issued on the day of our arrival. Homestake was in touch via text on current road conditions and what we might expect when we arrived. This extra service was really appreciated. As it turned out, they just got a dusting, but it made for good pictures in the morning. When we couldn't figure out how the oven worked in our cabin they were there in a minute with a smile and a quick lesson.

Peaceful retreat
Liked: Everything! Our host, Lauren, was responsive and informative. The cabin comfortably furnished and perfect for the two of us. We took a leisurely walk around the property, enjoying the peace and quiet. While the cabin provided all of the needs to make meals, including a grill, we opted to go to town for dinner, which was just about 15-20 minutes away. We would definitely stay again if in the area.
