Clean, convenient, large room with...

Liked: Very nice & clean. We asked for a room w/ handicapped facilities (grab bars in shower), & not only did we get that, but the room was right next to the elevator & the ice machine! Really liked the full-size fridge, that actually worked! Staff were very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was about what you see at most places, I did really like the taco-shaped omelettes. Lots of seating for breakfast, & it was available from 6 am - 10 am, which is a longer time than most places. Very convenient location, right on the Central Ave. Metro line.
Disliked: The couch was more comfortable than in most Home2's that I've stayed in, but in my experience Home2 isn't known for the most comfortable furniture (certainly not the staff's fault). A pillow from the bed put behind my back made it much more comfortable. The main entrance is not on Central Ave., it's around back - the sign identifying the hotel is small, & low to the ground (easily blocked by parked cars), & we drove right past the entrance. That may be because of city zoning requirements, so I don't think the staff can do much about that. The Metro trains coming down the street are loud, & they run well past midnight - next time I'll ask for a room on the back side of the hotel.

Liked: Very good location, helpful staff, good breakfast, lots of restaurants nearby, rooftop with swimming pool, very clean and comfortable
Disliked: The first night can be a little difficult if your room is on the east side (facing the avenue) because of the lightrail's noise. After the first night, you get used to it.
