Stayed here two nights for...

Liked: Coffee was good.
Disliked: Breakfast was about what one would expect at a cheap budget hotel; high sugar pastries of unknown age; manufactured eggs that, I suppose, take the place of scrambled eggs; and the omnipresent waffle maker. Very limited seating. To top it off, the woman running the breakfast area was overtly rude, shouting at people. They did seem to be understaffed, but honestly that is not a problem that guests can solve, and they shouldn't be treated rudely. For the in-room "kitchen", which is really just a refrigerator, sink, and microwave, we had no plates or forks at check in. Just was well, since the utensils that we did have were quite dirty; we had to wash everything before using. For ambience, one side of the hotel overlooks McDonald's and FIVE other junk food places, and the other side overlooks the parking lot of the Oswego Speedway. This area is a standard ugly urban sprawl mess. In contrast, downtown Oswego is quaint, kinda hip, very friendly. Stay downtown if you can!

Disliked: I booked the hotel because there was a pool but it was being maintained. The hole experience was thrown off

Liked: We enjoyed everything about our stay in Oswego. Home2suites was a perfect match for us. The staff was an A+. Facility was clean and very peaceful. Oswego is beautiful.
