Great for families with kids

Liked: The hotel is very clean and the rooms are super big and comfortable.
Disliked: The reception staff were not super welcoming. The breakfast was too crowded and no vegetables at all. Some tomatoes or cucumber would have been nice.

Good

Liked: The hotel was really nice overall. Our room was very comfty and spacious, with lots of storage, amazing views and very clean. We had everything that we needed for our 8 day stay. The kitchen was also very well equipped and I loved the big fridge, handy microwave/oven and dishwasher. The staff were really kind and all of the facilities were very spacious. The location was also handy since there's also a metro nearby and we also found it handy to go to the JKF airport.
Disliked: The only downside was the breakfast. Options were very limited and there was never a change of items. The produce didn't seem very fresh either, except for the two fruit options (banana and apple). They should incorporate more options as it can become quite repetitive and basic. I have stayed in hotels that have been cheaper with more food options and better quality. Because of this, we decided to skip breakfast some days, or buying additional items from outside to complement our breakfast and have a bit of a change.

I will still stay here...

Liked: Location, staff is friendly, breakfast is decent
Disliked: Our sink wasn’t draining properly, our toilet wasn’t flushing well, and we had issues with the TV getting local channels. It had to be fixed.

This was a wonderful location...

Liked: Breakfast offerings were nice. There are waffles!
Disliked: The room card generator/system was off-line so we didn't have key cards at first.

Exceptional value for money!

Liked: Second stay here in 12 months. Probably the best hotel in terms of value for money, big rooms, generous breakfast and excellent friendly service. Location us top, 2 minutes from the subway with fast and regular connections to everywhere in Manhattan. Will be back!
Disliked: Breakfast service should be until 10am every day and not only in the weekend. But at least you can stay to enjoy what you take before 9am 😉

Very good

Liked: Excellent location. Nice neighborhood with shops and restaurants in walking distance. 3 minute walk to station so easy access for sightseeing but nice not to stay in the centre of all the attractions. Well equipped room with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, cups/plates etc. Was nice to be able to eat in the room if we wanted to. 2 adults and 2 children in the room. It was a bit tight but not a problem. Comfortable. Lovely shower and clean bathroom. Room serviced daily. Staff all very helpful. Excellent value for money. I would definitely stay here again if I visit New York again.
Disliked: Breakfast is included in the booking. It's quite basic but reflected by the price. Pancakes, oatmeal, bagels, cheese, egg. Staff replenish regularly. A bit mass produced.
