Liked: Convenient location.
Disliked: Room temperature was unbearable hot. If you opened windows you suffered traffic noise. Noise from a lady in adjacent room on her phone for 2 hours!!

Wonderful staff make up for...

Liked: Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very obliging and genuinely care. A real treat in today’s world.
Disliked: The weather was exceptionally and unusually hot. I was located on the top floor without an air conditioner and could not open windows as these were right be the fire escape- which can be accessed by anyone from outside. It was 31 degrees in the room at 2am! I have stayed in this exact room before in winter and had no problems at all.

Disliked: Room was extremely hot and traffic noise was bad especially with window open. Bathroom was new and clean but nowhere to hang towels they had to be put on the floor which is not very hygienic. Temperature tap could not be turned cold enough and water was too hot for the time of year. This was room 2.

Probably the best and only...

Liked: Reception staff were welcoming (always a key issue), and very helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean and well decorated.We had the 'cosy room', which indeed it was and would have liked more space, but it was a late booking and no others were available. However room was well appointed, clean and with fresh decor, couldn't fault.There is limited carparking, very useful in a busy area.
Disliked: Nothing really, the biggest issue was a 'fake' American website that cloned the Hotel's own, but that was resolved easily enough, and Management were warned.
