Very disappointing room, not value...

Liked: Roomy bathroom
Disliked: Pillows, No magnifying mirror, hairdryer didn’t reach mirror. No Non slip mat for shower or grab handle. Car park noise awful, kitchen extractor/generator loud, no room aircon. Badly positioned tv for viewing. Very small room for a double. Noise from restaurant staff & disposing of bottles. No drawers for shirts & underwear.

Four star hotel that talks...

Liked: Spacious room, nice decor, mostly clean.
Disliked: The "sea view" was obstructed from most areas of the room. The fridge in the room didn't work. The shower had spots of mould. I reported the broken fridge at 8am after checking in through multiple channels. Had to follow up through multiple channels to get a reply that they'll send someone to resolve it. Ended up with a broken fridge for the entire 3 night stay after being promised a resolution. I asked for a partial refund that someone was going to get in touch with me to arrange and still haven't. It is now a week later, I've followed up and it's not been resolved yet. Overall the "self-service" check-in resulted in lack of actual support with promises of resolution that aren't followed through. For these prices I'd recommend you look elsewhere.

Disliked: Inability to use the bar and garden due to renovation. TV should be smart,unable to connect with the phone or tablet.

Disliked: Toiletries for 2 ppl however a 3 ppl booking I.e. 2 bedroom flat. Welcome pack could be more in line with an advertised 5 star rating accommodation. Cleanliness was not ul to expectation - drawer contained rubbish and happy to provide pictures on request.

Liked: Rooms were great, location was excellent, right on the seafront. 10 minute walk to town, pier, bars.
Disliked: Parking was a bit of a faff, the customers to the new bar downstairs blocked residents in, had to ask for people to move their cars. Magically that was your fault they parked badly ... Haha
