Hollywood Beach Hotels

PLEASE READ: DO NOT STAY...

Liked: Location to the beach and broadwalk.
Disliked: DO NOT go off the pictures when you book!!! The rooms look nothing like them. We booked a room with a kitchen and when we got checked- no kitchen, no oven. I went to the front deck and she said that's not what I booked, I showed her my confirmation and she walked away for a while, came back and said they didn't have any rooms available that I would have to call back in the morning and speak with the manager and let them know the situation and they would get us the correct room. The pull-out sofa bed was a joke!!! it wasn't but 4 inches thick and hanging on only 3 springs. My kids slept horrible that night, but we had no choice. We bought $400 worth of groceries for our family of 6, we needed a different room. The manager was not friendly when I called the next morning, I had my boyfriend request to look at the room before we moved everything.Be aware there are over 20 buildings so you will have to walk everywhere, the pools are spread out, the office was a 3 block walk from our original room, etc.The air in our room did not work. We turned it down to 64 and it never went less than 71.There is NO gym onsite, even though all the pictures lead us to believe it did and there's nothing on the website that says its "under construction".The pools were a joke, very dirty. Our kids walked 2 blocks to the nearest pool and came back after 15 minutes and didn't get in the pool the rest of the time.The new room, with a kitchen, was 5 BLOCKS from where we were originally put. We had to pack up our family of 6 and all of our groceries and walk to our new room. THERE IS ONLY ONE CART FOR CARRYING LUGGAGE FOR 23 BUILDINGS!! Apparently, it was the end of the world when I requested a rolling cart to transport our family of 6, five blocks.The didn't give enough linens for the number of people in our room. We had to walk 3 blocks to the office, wait 15 minutes for them to call someone to bring a trash bag of linens.THIS PLACE WAS HORRIBLE!

Liked: Location was perfect. We brought 2 other couples that came down with us because we had told them just how great a place this is.
Disliked: parking was hard to deal with at times.

It absolutely sucked!

Liked: You couldn't pay me to stay in this place again. They show you some nice pictures of maybe one of the properties they own that's maybe halfway decent, but this place was an absolute effing dump. It'd be great if you were a college kid that want to crash after a night of partying but it is absolutely not the place to book if you are even halfway civilized and want a clean, decent room. It was an absolute dump. The entire property was not kept well whatsoever. I could talk for half an hour about the things I saw in a one-night stay about this facility. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Spend the extra money on a decent hotel like Buffets or the Hyatt. Photos to come if they allow me to post.
Disliked: Literally everything. Stats attitudes are horrible wait times to get checked in we're absolutely ridiculous and I didn't even think about trying to call for any type of Maintenance or room service because God forbid they could even get to you the way this place is laid out. Joke
