Fantastic place to stay, warm,...

Liked: Chris the host was super friendly, location was great. Waking in the morning with a wonderful view of Mt Macedon through the garden was a great surprise. The sun warmed the room while we ate a wonderful breakfast prepared by Chris. Room was a great size, well heated, very comfortable and private. Macedon is a sleepy town, not far from Gisborne where food choices are excellent.

Liked: It was an incredibly beautiful location with views to die for. The room itself had a wonderful, cozy vibe and included all necessities for a short stay. Chris was an incredible hostess with a knack for hospitality and cooking brekky!

Liked: Chris was welcoming, efficient and caring. She even ironed our clothes in preparation for the wedding we attended. We enjoyed a substantial, tasty breakfast in our comfortable room! Hollyhock is close to cafes, a bakery and general store! Such a picturesque area!

Liked: Breakfast was large to big for me - no complaints the bed was big and comfortable.
Disliked: the place was old and dark not much ventilation.the big problem was steps to the house, i feel steps should always be advertised, i struggle with steps i feel it should be mentioned in every flyer.
