Holland Inn Hotel

I'm considering unistalling Booking app...

Liked: I didn't liked it.
Disliked: The hotel is falling apart and looks very dirty. The shower of my room did not work, I couldn't use it, the room was super tiny and did not correspond to the pictures. There was no place to store my clothes just a couple of hungers in the wall. I don't understand how Booking charged me $170 for that. I'm very disapointed and want to request a refund.

Liked: We honestly liked nothing about the room. It looked nothing like the photos. Female receptionist was lovely, she offered directions and guidance about the local area.
Disliked: The shower was broken, we reported it on night 1. It trickled out water and frequently cut off. Nothing was done, the extremely rude and in-denial gentleman on reception blamed it as a “local issue”. When we reported it on checkout day (as we needed to shower before travelling home), he kindly gave us another room to shower in. However, this room was filthy dirty from residents that had checked out minutes prior!!!! I informed him that he needed to fix the showers, and he said again that it was a “local issue”, despite the showers working in the dirty room he gave us as an alternative?!?! Also, our fan was broke. The TV was broke. Dated decor, wonky lights and pictures. Advertising photos nothing like the real thing. Stale smell upon check in. Air fresheners wouldn’t go a miss.The male receptionist obviously had no customer service skills, I even heard him shout at and ridicule another resident because he couldn’t locate his room. We as a couple, honestly don’t like moaning. But we are hardworking people spending a lot of money to stay here. They didn’t seem very surprised when we informed them of these issues and did not apologise once. In fact, they made multiple excuses for issues we raised.

Liked: It was a simple basic hotel but in an excellent location just off Kensington High Street - very clean comforatble and very helpful gentleman on the front desk
Disliked: Nothing really - the fan didnt work but they gave me a new one - TV was faulty but was not an issue for me.

Disappointing

Liked: Very little to like.
Disliked: Very dirty cramped rooms, middle of nowhere. 25 min walk to any tube stations. Fan didn't work, tv didn't work, shower was dirty, all walls and floors damaged.

Worst place to stay ever.

Liked: The location was close to Holland park.
Disliked: Don't go to this hotel it's filthy!! No staff on site, key lock with card. The whole place needs a refurbishment, the corridors are dark and dirty, the room I stayed was ultra small, with a bed that resembled a camp bed, the room was dirty, the shower head hadn't been cleaned in a long time as the amount of timescale on it rendered the shower unusable! The floor was dirty the grime was everywhere. The bed was made and there were clean sheet, the mattress was so uncomfortable. The TV didn't work communication was via text message, instruction to fix turn off and turn on again this didn't resolve the issue the cables where hanging from the wall up high plugged into extension leads also floating off wall it was a mess..
