Dreadful
Liked: Nothing
Disliked: The room had no windows or ventilation. The room was above 30 degrees, there was a small air conditioning unit but not at all adequate. The wooden flooring was blistering and splintering. The shower couldn’t be adjusted as the fitting was held together with cellotape. We left after one night, owner unhelpful, refused refund even after further conversation via email, just refused to talk about my issues.

good enough
Liked: near Olympia
Disliked: Wall fan was not working. Water struggled to travel up to the third floor to tap and shower.

WARNING Don't go here cheap...
Liked: The location was close to the place I was going.
Disliked: The hotel is not well managed at all. We got in late last night around 10pm I noticed some pink marks on my pillow but just chose to do a makeshift one myself. In the morning after waking up my son turned his pillow over and it was covered in dried blood. It wasn't from either of us I checked. When I told the person in charge he started getting aggressive and confrontational saying how did he do it? I have taken it up with booking.com and have proven it isn't ours.If you are looking for a budget friendly hotel I would look elsewhere, it's not worth it. I now have to take my autistic child to the Drs tomorrow to see if there is anything I need to do to safeguard him against potential disease.I would give it a lower rating if that was even possible.

Disliked: Not really anything to complain about.

Not as bad as some...
Liked: The Holtel was literally just a few minutes walk round the courner from Olympia. Clean towels everyday. Friendly reception. It had a very communal tone about. It. On the evenings I was there it was really hot evenings so Me and a few other guests were sat out side the front have a smoke and abanter. It was like having a neighbourly community.. I've read alot of bad things about this hotel.. But apart from the check out incident I had. I really had a good stay. The room was clean, tidy.. I mean it's not 5 star but it doesn't try to be. For £246 for 3 nights in the Kensington area I couldn't complain. And If I was going to do a convention at olympia again I wouldn't hesitate to book here. Again wouldn't recommend lengthy stays due to size of room.
Disliked: The Room was very very small for what was meant to be a double room for two people.and the bed was a steel frame bed. Not what what you would expect from a Kensington hotel. Upon my checkout there was a issue in the morning. As I was taking my casement of the room, the door slammed shut, .having my last bag and room card in the room... there is no one at reception until 9am. I phoned the number for help. It was 7:30 am. Obviously not being happy at being woken up to be told what had happened and that my taxi for myntrain home was on the way. I got a " she will be there". 8:50 now comes and my taxi is 10 mins away. I phone back to the same response. Luckily the young lad that collects the early check out keys from the box came to collect keys and he says henhas a master key and can get me my bag and door key. Which I promptly put in the box.. and just then my taxi arrived. Thank God for that young lad with the master key.Mobile phone reception is poor in the area as a whole.. not just the hotel.
