Good, clean modern room on...

Liked: Good location in very high hotel dense area. Good free parking across the street. Good, clean modern room on beachfront . Reasonably priced. Lazy river floating pool was too small, but some might enjoy.

Disliked: The hotel was very old and not renovated. The pictures were not as accurate as taken ,very misleading. The room had mold and mildew around the doors,vents, and furniture as well as the carpet. Very disappointing, the rug and furniture had green mold around the dresser hinges and pulls ,the furniture was falling apart as if it had been wet or brought from a salvage dump. The vents and telephone did not work. This place needs to be renovated and not allowed to operate until it is renovated . Someone pooped on the elevated and left it until housekeeping for able to clean. Spoke to the front desk and met with the manager on duty Mike about my concerns and disappointments. No other accommodations were offered or condensated after paying cash . I really should be refunded. I will never stay at this place again, so l say to anyone, considering this place, it is not the place to stay, unless your budget it is all you can afford. I should have taken pictures.

Liked: This was our second time staying at this location. They have upgraded the beds to be more comfortable. I love the apartment size fridge in the room. The balcony was a great place to relax and watch the waves. The pools and hot tub were clean and had great temperatures. The housekeeping staff made sure our room was well stocked with fresh towels and washcloths the whole week. Everyone was super friendly. Great location and a great deal!
Disliked: The shower had minimal water pressure, and there was a lot of mold in the room. The ac did nothing to help with the humidity in the room, which I think is contributing to the mold growth. I appreciate housekeeping leaving things alone, but I wish that someone could have vacuumed the room at least once during the week we were there.

Liked: The location to the beach was very nice!
Disliked: The facilities are dated. Our toilet was wobbly. The cabinets did not close properly in the kitchen. There is a pungent odor in the hallway that is consistent throughout the stay.
