Liked: It was clean and the room was a good size. The pillows were newer and the bed was comfortable. They let us check in early which was great after traveling two days to get there.
Disliked: We needed help with the hot water. We were told to let it run for 20 minutes to get hot water. We let it run 45 minutes and it still wasn't working. The lady who I believe is an owner came for a second time and apologized because all the facets are backwards. Hot is cold and cold is hot. Not surprised by this but our neighbors were up ALL NIGHT LONG talking loudly.There was no desk in the room. Walking past other rooms they had desks.

Liked: It was conveniently located in a good section of town. The owners were a lovely family that spanned several generations and they were very pleasant and always available. The bathroom was roomy and had a pretty Granite countertop. As you entered the room, your first see a delightfully painted wall mural surrounding the bed-frame.
Disliked: The wall on the opposite side of the room was blank except for a tiny TV and a corner cupboard for the Microwave, frig & coffee pot. Strangely, no other furniture in the room, except for a wheeled chair, but no desk for it. No real closet, but there was a linen cupboard in the bathroom. No carpeting which made it feel like a hollow room and cold floors. The heater was a small electric heater with a long cord to point wherever. The bed-frame was a metal box that the mattress sat on and my shoe kept knocking the metal each time I approached the bed which echoed like a loud drum. I am glad I brought my own 4"-memory-foam-topper because their bed was extra firm (too hard for me). The shower and sink had the hot and cold backwards which took a bit of getting used to, Most of the baseboard was chipped and needed attention, although the walls appeared to be painted. My online price was the 2nd lowest in the area, but I had paid the exact same price at a much nicer hotel two months earlier for 2-nites on Christmas Day 2023.
