The Holiday Inn Zürich Messe is between the airport and the center of the city next to the famous Hallenstadion concert venue the fairgrounds the Convention Centre and the Theater 11 music hall. Public transportation is conveniently available in front of the hotel with a direct tram taking you to the center of the city in only 17 minutes and another one taking you to the airport in only 15 minutes. Good hotel, just nothing special...

Liked: -24 hour gym - good breakfast - good location, 5 mins walk to station then 5 minutes train into central zurich. lots of good restaurants and some supermarkets nearby - good wifi - storage luggage and early check in
Disliked: - gym wasn’t great, didn’t even have a treadmill! - no fridge in the room - price could have been inflated due to athletics but felt high for a fairly basic hotel

We had a very pleasant...

Liked: We only stayed one night after a concert at the Hallenstadion. The hotel is perfectly positioned being just across the road. The rooms are very quiet and roomy.
Disliked: The television didn't work, not even for the Swiss channels. We didn't go there to watch television but it's nice to watch the news in the morning.
