Loved this hotel and the amenities and staff!

Liked: It was really clean and well kept. Staff was super friendly.
Disliked: Only one elevator was in service so it took a while to get to the ninth floor.

Liked: The carpet was not clean. The refrigerator was not working as expected. AC makes noise. Parking is a big problem. But the Location of the hotel is great.
Disliked: The pool was very small.

Terrible - would not stay...

Liked: The Capital Cafe in the hotel was awesome- the food was great and the staff was attentive and personable.
Disliked: From Check-in to Check out everything was subpar. Check in at front desk- very rude employee, advised me it was 58.93 to park, then charged my card 158.93, when I questioned the charge she rolled her eyes and said " there's a parking fee deposit of $100" that was never communicated to me prior, I knew I had to pay for parking, but this was a shock. I asked for a room that was semi handicap accessible- meaning we did not need the roll in shower and such, but close to the elevators and exits- less walking. We were told we were near the elevator, and we were near an elevator, but not the main elevator we had to walk down 4 hallways to get to the main entrance/exit -to the parking garage where we were parked.. There were also several "bumps" in the carpet in these hallways, which were tripping hazards, it was like wrinkles in the carpet. The pool is a rooftop pool that boasts about being able to see the capitol bldg - its an obstructed view. Getting to the pool as a handicapped person is not easy, they have a wheel chair lift type elevator to get to the roof, which is not user friendly and there is no staff around to help. The king sized room is huge, but the bed is hard as a rock, no give when you move, and the sofa bed has springs coming out of it. The bath towels were about 1/2 the size of a normal bath towel. The room had a stale smell and the AC did not cool the room below 70 degrees. Staff at check out were rude too. I turned the keys in and they said in a loud and rude tone DO NOT FORGET TO LEAVE THE PREMISES BY 530PM - meaning the parking garage, this is why they take the 100 deposit, because if you do not leave by then, they keep that deposit and charge you accordingly for the extra time.

Liked: The location. Near the Mall and Metro.
Disliked: The toilet did not completely flush. They had to come up to the room twice to fix. The fan in the bathroom did not work.
