Holiday Inn Washington-Capitol By IHG

Loved this hotel and the amenities and staff!

Liked: It was really clean and well kept. Staff was super friendly.
Disliked: Only one elevator was in service so it took a while to get to the ninth floor.

We will be back to...

Liked: Great location, close to key locations for sightseeing. The bar/grill was a wonderful option for food and drinks and the staff were wonderful!

Great location but Not worth...

Liked: Breakfast was great.
Disliked: First room smelled of smoke. I chatted in and no one responded. I went downstairs the following morning and they moved us to another room. Second night was okay and the third night our smoke alarm kept going off. Again - I chatted in. No one responded. Went downstairs to talk with the staff and they were incredibly rude and unhelpful. I have chatted in multiple times since then regarding the refund they promised and still nothing. I do not recommend staying here for what they charge.

Disliked: Parking I thought was an expensive, especially for what you're paying for your room.

Liked: Staff was friendly, kids ate free, good location.
Disliked: Parking was not included and expensive.

It was okay for sleeping...

Liked: Loved the outdoor seating
Disliked: I didn’t like that we were not able to use the pool as they only let 15 people in at a time for the size of the hotel. Really put a damper on our trip being that we had kids

Great value and location to...

Liked: Very close to Metro and can walk to Manh destinations.
Disliked: Not too many food options in the area. There are two restaurants in the hotel, one for breakfast and the other dinner/bar.

Comfortable and great AC.

Liked: Central location which allowed to walk to landmarks by feet
Disliked: Expensive hotel drinks
