Mixed feelings

Liked: Good position, clean, polite front desk staff.
Disliked: I was given a room facing the street, despite the fact I requested a quiet one. Tourist buses starting, engine at 5 am, delivery trucks, garbage collection at same early hours. Window didn’t fully close (mechanism needs revision). Plus room was right near elevators so I could hear noisy guests waiting or leaving elevators. Air conditioning disabled intentionally. Room temperature reached 27 C at approx 6 pm because of room’s exposure to sun.

Not quite as expected

Liked: Perfect location, short walk from the station and also pretty close to the maritime museum and the harbour front with loads of restaurants, Ice Cream bars etc. Great breakfast room and very friendly staff that let us have a very enjoyable breakfast on the terrace outside.
Disliked: The air condition that did not work, something that seems to happen regularly. Then it says on booking.com that there is a fitness room, but there isn’t; already since the Corona days. Disappointing that the information has not been updated particularly for those who try to stay fit during their holidays.
