Great breakfast at Perkins
Liked: Room is nice and beds are very comfortable Perkins restaurant breakfast is tasty and Mandy is the restaurant is a great waitress, happy, helpful and kind.
Disliked: Unfortunately we had no hot water for showers in the morning (not want you want after long travel day)The entry way had many people smoking outside and their were security guards stationed at the hotel - outside and in the hallway$20CAD to park the car

Liked: The facility was excellent
Disliked: The reception staff at the time of checking was very rude. No Smile at all. She goofed up my payment process. First she said my card is not working. Tried another card. But later she found that the first Card itself is working fine. Then she was dictating something about the usage of trolley!! Very strange. She has given me a room-card for, I think, room 247. We wient upstairs and tried to open this room. Surprisingly there was somebody inside the room and they opened the door and scolded us for the attempt to trespass. Then we went down again to the receptionist and she said it is a "small mistake"!!! Then she has given us another room-key-card and finally it worked. I never had such a bad experience. Also during checkout they did not give me a bill. I do not know they refund the deposit amount of CAD 100.

Would recommend staying here for...
Liked: Location close to conventionAlso really liked how enthusiastic their decorating was for anime north. Also perkins
Disliked: Something was going on with the sink plumbing in our bathroom. Kept giving us hot water and no cold water. We did ask for someone to look at it which seemed to fit it until later next morning it happened again. Also the bathroom light died on us hut thats not a huge deal. It also got fixed.Parking lot is a bit small.

Grungy hallways, grumpy and hidden...
Disliked: Nobody was around when I checked in around 4 pm. Had to wait 10 minutes and a person sitting in an office watched me wait but wouldn’t get up. I went to them and said excuse me I’ve been waiting for a bit, is there somebody around to check me in. Then they came out of the office to check me in and pulled up my details on a computer. Eventually a man came to the front and had me move to another computer to start the check in over again. Both people were not friendly. The room was decent but the hallways were grungy. It smelled strongly like marijuana along the first floor hallway as I walked by the whole time I was there. The shower on both days was absolutely horrible - worst shower of my life. It honestly took about 10 minutes of running water before the hot water started and the water pressure was horrible. This was extremely annoying. When I checked out I was offered free breakfast or a snack from the shop but I declined. The person that checked me out was professional.
