Disliked: I am sure it rarely happens, but the fire alarm in the middle of the night was a bit of an experience

Tired! Good stay but could...

Liked: Good facilities, location and breakfast.
Disliked: Fire alarm at 04:30 am with no staff at the rear of the property directing people where to go or whether it was safe to re-enter the hotel, we couldn't get back to sleep following this so left for very tired children the following day. Another fire alarm at 10:30 am which meant we had to check out earlier. I appreciate fire alarms do happen and are there for guests safety which is absolutely fine, but staff were not very good at communicating to anyone and did leave quite a few of us out the rear of the property not knowing what was happening. Both fire alarms were caused by the same smoke detector head which was obviously faulty.

Great family hotel

Liked: Staff very friendly, excellent breakfast, kids eat free at dinner! Pool superb. Special thanks to Angie in the restaurant for making our evening meal so enjoyable and to the pool team for finding a pool slot for us!
Disliked: Fire alarm at 5am! Not the hotels fault though obviously!
