Holiday Inn Tacoma Mall By IHG

Went to the Sinbad comedy show. Hotels close to EQC were either full, too expensive or roach motels. Red Lion was decent for a one night stay. Died laughing when Sinbad made a joke about the Red Lion.

Liked: Just off the highway for easy drive to EQC.
Disliked: Hotel a little dated.

Won’t stay there again. Paid...

Liked: Easy access off the freeway. The smash burgers were great at the cafe.
Disliked: Old motel vibes. Rebranded for holiday inn, but the rooms smelled like bad air fresheners. The bathroom was in poor condition, with the shower handle falling off as soon as I turned on the water. Rust and mold behind the faucet was visible. Soaps and towels were very cheap and seemed low-budget. Facilities were all pretty worn out and old.

Liked: IT WAS HELL HOT THAT WEEK AND THE ROOM I WAS STAYING IN THE AIR CONDITIONING WASN'T WORKING
Disliked: THAT THE AIR CONDITIONING WASN'T WORKING IN THE ROOM!.... AND THAT WEEK WAS OVER 85° EVERY DAY!!!....

Tidy but tiny.

Disliked: the room was MUCH smaller than expected as was bathroom

Liked: The bed was very comfortable and the staff were very nice and professional
Disliked: The pillows were very flat and the shower temperature was backwards cold was hot and hot was cold
