Good

Liked: Staff were friendly and the location is very convenient with a lovely view.
Disliked: Failed to mention that the hotel was under construction. We were woken up early by sanding and hammering in the room next door. Could have stayed in the hotel next to us for less money and more peace.

Comfort, Amenities and Proximity for...

Liked: Cozy resting spot in the heart of downtown. Love the views, love the proximity, kids love the pool. Pub and restaurant in the hotel are great.
Disliked: Could have been updated more, I think they are in process of working on that.

DISASTROUS

Disliked: THE ROOM WAS DIRTY. THE CARPET WAS SO OLD IT HAD VARIOUS PULLS OF THE MATERIAL. THE BED WAS SO LUMPY, IT WAS UNCOMFORTABLE. THE KLEENEX AND TOILET PAPER WERE SO CHEAP AND FLIMSY. THE TOWELS WERE SO OLD THEY COULD BE USED TO CLEAN THE PLACE.IT IS THE ONLY HOLIDAY INN THAT DID NOT INCLUDE A BREKFAST IN CANADA. PARKING WAS CHARGED FOR!THE CLERK AT THE DESK WAS NOT FRIENDLY AND RUDE WHEN I MENTIONED THE LACK OF BREAKFAST.I CERTAINLY WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!
