Superb

Pleasant

Liked: Pool .room was quiet ,free parking and wifi
Disliked: Jacuzzi not working , window frames old and rusty, hard bed. No decaf in coffee at breakfast generally dated building.

Only stay if you have...

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: Place could do with the outside being painted. It is very shabby. We found a disposable razor in the water of swimming pool, the jacuzzi was not in use. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable and not even a double. It was a 3/4 bed not big enough for 2 adults. The sink could have been cleaned better, the overflow was black and needed a shot of bleach in it.

Liked: The waitress at breakfast was lovely and kind.
Disliked: The property is dated and worn which can be seen in the rooms. The pool is cold and the hot tub broken. The mattresses very hard. While we were swimming lots of boys were jumping in the pool splashing everyone despite there being a sign saying no jumping which was upsetting a baby in the pool. Gym employee who was sat at the desk could clearly see and did nothing.

Good place to stay when...

Liked: Breakfast was good. Room was clean.
Disliked: The sofa bed in our room was awful. Very uncomfortable. It would probably have been more comfortable to sleep on the floor!

Such a pleasant stay

Liked: I can not rate this place any higher than exceptional we were greeted with ample parking close enough to the main reception which is amazing when you have 2 young children by yourself. All staff we met were friendly and helpful. Food was incredible, plenty of choice for dinner and breakfast. Play facilities for the children with no one pointing shame at them for having fun and wow did we get a bargain. £123 for one night stay free parking 3 course meal for 3 people and breakfast for 3 people! There was a function on at the hotel the night they we stayed and we did not hear a peep. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you.
Disliked: That we only paid for one night! There are no lifts so if you have small small children or need extra help ask for a ground floor room. Doors are quite narrow also.
