The stay was just okay....
Liked: The Location was close to where my son lives. Could walk to his place
Disliked: Heater did not work in the room. Had to leave the window open and that was loud. The refrigerator in the room had a ringing hum to it. Hard to sleep with that also. Fitness equipment was old and in poor condition. The two stationary bikes did not work

Liked: I booked a room in this hotel through Booking.com (a 2 queen). When I got there, 1) the lady said actually the price would be higher and that they could practice different prices. I didn't agree and after talking to someone, she said it was fine and that I'd pay the price I first agreed to pay for Booking. 2) there was no 2 queen size beds available then she wanted to give me a cheaper room for the same amount I agreed to pay for the one on my reservation which I also disagreed. Finally, one 2 queen beds was released by the housekeeping and I could rest (all this took 1h). 3) was already in the room (old hotel, old carpets, old furniture, dark) when I noticed the furniture was dirty besides everything was in order and the beds made as they should be for a clean room. I asked one of the housekeepers who was working in the same floor if he could come and clean it and so he did. Fine. SO I went for a shower to find out the room was NOT clean. There was loads of hair in the bathtub and an used bath towel. I tried unsuccessfully to call front desk, I went downstairs and explained the whole thing so the lady change me to another room. She came upstairs with me and saw for herself the room was dirty. 4) theremote command of the TV wasn't working (2 new remotes tested). Inconvenient but not a major problem. 5) I remembered I forgot my headphones on the bed of the first room but they WERE GONE! Manager said they don't have them and after offering me points for a future booking which I didn't want to (I asked for total or partial refund over what I paid to stay in this unpleasant place OR the money that covers what I paid for the headphones because they were brand new and I'd be then travelling without them, the manager then said I could try a refund with Booking.com because they could do nothing.
I called booking customer service and after some days I got a credit of CAD 35 (my Apple headphones cost USD 39!!!
Disliked: Old and dirty facilities
