Liked: There was always parking. 3 pools is always a plus. Steps from the beach.
Disliked: Staff that understood English was rude.. most staff couldn’t understand English and we couldn’t understand them. Homelessness..ugh! Disabled room was definitely not for the disabled-farthest from any exit.

Liked: outdoor pool was excellent, breakfast was excellent, staff and guests asll extremely friendly
Disliked: shower doors came off track, toilet plugged had to call twice before someone plunged it calls were 5 hours apart, needed more help at the poolside restaurant the square whale, tripped on the outside door track heading into the square whale landed on my face - wound up with a nasty shiner and possible concussion

Stay away.

Liked: The valet that did not work for the hotel was the only person that greeted us that I could either understand or hear. He was amazing. And the distance/access to the beach was great.
Disliked: The ceiling was falling on us throughout our stay. Garbage piled up in the room because the housekeeper refused to take it. One of two elevators was broke 75% of the stay. The hotel hallways were hot, like a sauna. The shower was so small that you couldn't turn without hitting the door bar. The TV skips on higher numbered channels. The sliding door to the balcony sticks. The only person that could shit it was me. The 4th floor ice machine did not work. The hotel restaurant took 30 minutes to receive food after it was ordered. The indoor lazy river was not working. It was just a circular pool. I could barely communicate with any of the staff. They either did not speak English or were young and unable to help everyone asking for help. The floor of the main pool was chipped. All around I would never stay here again. I would never recommend the hotel. As a matter of fact I would love to talk to the manager that was never around or available.

Great location, value price, AC...

Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great and, overall, the hotel was value. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable.
Disliked: The hotel is a bit dated, but the biggest distractor was the temperature of the room. The air conditioning unit in the room was insufficient to drop the room temperature below 80F. We ended up in two rooms (1 on the top/6th floor and one on the 5th floor), only because of how we booked the room (not the hotel's fault), but both rooms had the same issue. Out was ~100F, so it was warm, but my expectations for a hotel, in this location, would be outfitted to support heat. Other than this, I had not major complaints.

Decent, not close to the...

Liked: Property is north end so it’s quieter but the hallways and main areas are extremely hot. Rooms are nicely air conditioned though.
Disliked: I was charged twice, paid in advance and then the card they took for “incidentals” was charged for the stay, so I paid twice. They have yet to fix the issue. Be aware.

Overall it was a nice...

Liked: The pools are wonderful for families, and the location is quiet and away from the party scene down the boardwalk.
Disliked: The WiFi was not working properly, the ac on the floor went out and the hallways were suffocating. Our ac in the room could not keep up with the heat. The hot tub was out of order for majority of our stay. And they now charger for parking per night.

Superb

Liked: View was great, pool was amazing and poolside bar with non-alcoholic options made for a great experience. Wonderful food in the restaurants. Extremely accommodating. Great location away from crowds.
Disliked: Temperature control in one room was a little warmer than the other. The home theater room was uncomfortably hot (thermostat said around 80°), couldn't sit through the entire movie. Literally the ONLY complaint I have with the entire place. Everything else was lovely.
