Holiday Inn & Suites Geelong

Great location in lovely Geelong.

Liked: Well positioned. A very good breakfast thanks to "Aussie Jack". Comfortable bed and easy check in.
Disliked: Not a dislike, but an opportunity. It would have been good to see the deals in the restaurant and bar displayed in the room, lobby and lifts.We found out too late about the deals. Opportunity lost for the hotel.It's only a short walk to great restaurants. We really enjoyed Caruggi.The air conditioning was a problem. On a mild night we felt that the room remained hot and stuffy.

Liked: We loved the breakfast buffet and the pool! The view was spectacular and the shower was great. We ordered room service twice and both times it was delicious. Highly recommend the bolognese, fries and chocolate torte.
Disliked: The room was really stuffy. Even with the aircon on the lowest setting it was still hot. The temperature outside was only 21 degrees so wouldn’t have expected that!

Brilliant feel with cool modern...

Liked: Modern, clean and well appointed. Very comfy bedding and friendly staff. Will definitely be coming back.

Exceptional

Best stay ever in Geelong

Liked: Everything was so new and clean which made our stay very comfortable. The size of the rooms were big, they had good facilities and parking for reasonable price. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was great. Good location within Geelong city which made it very convenient. Excellent bathroom ventilation with proper working exhaust fans.
Disliked: It would be good if there was a spa and sauna as well. The pool depth was incorrect. It definitely was not 1.1m deep. More like 1.3 or 1.4m.
