Liked: Nice room with a comfortable bed. Enjoyable breakfast. Walkable to train station
Disliked: Not a fan of the room layout with a large frosted glass window into the rest of the bedroom. Not a deal-breaker but don't personally understand this trend in hotels.

Liked: Nice communal areas and friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Comfy bed.
Disliked: Heating did not work. Difficult to work out the lighting.Hole in the ceiling where there should have been a light. I was very cold in the room. No water provided in the room.

Liked: Truthfully the best thing was probably the staff if I’m honest and they weren’t the best
Disliked: Everything from the water in my room to having no electricity in my room asking on several occasions for extra pillow and not receiving them until 1 in the morning on our last night

Disliked: My colleague had to change rooms twice due to electrical faults. My room had damp and was mouldy in places.

Exceptional

Lovely Hotel, Great Location, Friendly...

Liked: Almost everything. Excellent beds, great location, friendly staff and a nice hotel.
Disliked: We were lucky to get the last room which was for disabled people. Unfortunately there was a very loud noise coming from a fan outside (we were at the back of the hotel) which made it a bit hard to sleep and impossible to open the window. I phoned reception at midnight but nobody answered. Also there was no bath and the room was quite dark. The next day the receptionist rang to apologise and put us in a more expensive room for free, which was very kind of her. The new room was lovely, my only critisism is the water tasted bad, perhaps as it was in the old part of the hotel, but there was bottled water provided. Also the kettle made our tea taste bad for the first few cups so they must have cleaned it with some chemical and not rinsed it properly. Apart from that everything was great.

Disappointing

Disliked: My bathroom was terrible as the sink didn’t drain properly and the toilet didn’t flush the tap on the sink was extremely fierce so would soak the floor and my clothes when switched on the shower didn’t turn off completely meaning it dripped all night and the housekeeping gave us only one towel on the second day so we had to share they also didn’t take out the rubbish from my room (empty coke cans and pizza box) I did complain to reception on first day but nothing was done and then was told I’d hear from someone on the second day but still haven’t.

Disliked: The bedroom window was solid non opening window and air-conditioning did not work.Called the front desk but nothing was done.
