Under renovation:.. some things understandable

Liked: Bed comfy… liked that there was a restaurant and lounge.. staff was nice
Disliked: The hot water for shower.. was only like warm… and my feet were black from walking in room from floor… and the tv remotes didn’t work properly

Disliked: The Restaurant needs a Major updating. Staff was Great. Bar seats Wore out. Beer taps but no Draft beer. Some old guy playing music way too loud. Pictures on web sight Not current

Liked: I’m just not sure it should be open yet, given its state of reconstruction.
Disliked: The reconstruction of the center was a mess. The “lobby” was pitiful, albeit temporary.

Sleepless in Tanglewood

Liked: The location was good. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Disliked: I was in booked into a room with a connector door to the next room ( This was not something I requested and would have preferred to not have it as I was traveling alone). Unfortunately, the person that was in the adjoining room turned out to be very loud and was in the room making a lot of noise until well after midnight, and up again at 6 am with the TV blasting. The noise he made sounded like he was in my room or extremely close. There was light from his room that reflected underneath the connector door in my room. Needless to say it was a sleepless night for me and made me feel very uneasy.

Liked: The room was clean and neat, and decorated nicely.
Disliked: Well….. they are doing construction, so it was a bit dirty and raggedy on the first floor….and confusing to maneuver around, but that’s to be expected. The main thing I didn’t like was , They had a bunch of teenagers running the front desk, A young girl maybe 18 or 19, was sitting at the desk, in jeans and a t shirt, on her phone, eating fried chicken, and she had two young boys up there with her , goofing around and playing,watching tik toc. When I walked in they didn’t even acknowledge me, as I was waiting to check in. They just moved out of the way and the young girl said “ checking in”? While still chewing her chicken. I checked in and walked to my room.She didn’t explain thing! Nothing about the amenities ,or the easiest way to get to my room, nothing about how to contact room service or anything! ( remind you the Hotel is under construction) I was disgusted, but didn’t wanna ruin my sons birthday weekend based on their ignorant hospitality. I found my room eventually. Thank God the room was nice.

Disliked: Hotel was undergoing construction, which was fine EXCEPT walking through construction areas, especially with a pet, was not a great experience. The curtain in the room was literally pointless, and the shade still allowed for a ton of light (from a streetlamp) to shine in while trying to sleep.

Liked: Property was close to where we where meeting family.
Disliked: Person at desk could not find my reservation. Ended up paying more for room and took the new years room package at additional cost. And when we got to lounge we were told that they didn’t have us listed to be there. So we just went elsewhere to bring in New Year’s Eve. Seams to be a lot of confusion with every step we made there. Some training may be needed !!! Breakfast next morning we were told at 9:30 that doors would be closing soon. So we went to Waffle House across the road so not to make them late to close.
