It was a disappointing and...

Liked: I loved the location near the river. Perfect for taking long, relaxing walks.This hotel has an outdoor pool, one of the few in the area. I came to enjoy the sun while reading by the pool and I was able to do that.
Disliked: My biggest frustration was that I paid extra for a river view room and I had barely a peak-a-boo river view. The river was on the other side of a parking lot so I mostly saw cars. The room I was in should not have been labeled river view! Was I put here because I booked through a third party? I attached a photo of my view.I stayed here 3 yrs ago and was impressed. That made it easy to stay here again. But now this property needs a lot of help. It's gone way down hill in only 3 years.1. It's dirty. Hallway floors had the same bits of stuff all over them for three days before they were finally cleaned up. Outdoor entries were a real mess. Trash was out there my entire stay. I'm thankful that inside my room was clean.2. My room was missing sheers, but I did get some on my 2nd day. I had to keep the blackout drapes closed or people walking by in the parking lot could look right in. 3. I paid extra for breakfast which was a waste of money. Very little choice. Not even any yogurt! And the staff did not clean tables. One morning I had to sit at a dirty table while the staff was over on the other side doing nothing. I was so frustrated that my last morning I went out for breakfast elsewhere.4. I loved the pool and used it every day but the main gate was broken and the only way in was a narrow path, crowded with bushes that badly needed pruning. That entrance had stairs so there was no handicap pool access during my stay.5. My room was very dark. I had to ask for a floor lamp. My room had a floor lamp 3 years ago.

Disliked: Booking says breakfast included. Not true. They charge you without telling you. Others have commented the same, which is why I knew to ask. Fine to cost $, but don't say breakfast included.

Liked: Pool was closed, which was disappointing. But the location is lovely!!!
Disliked: The outside needed some attention.

Miserable and overpriced!

Liked: Nothing. Restaurant was horrible. Absolutely no selection of food to choose from. Lave had on other customer the whole time we were there. It took over an hour and 15 minutes to get our food. Will never go back!
Disliked: We we told check in time was 3:00 but if we got there early they could accommodate us. We got there early and the front desk lady told us she couldn’t get us us a room until after 3:00. Even tough we had prepaid in full for three nights. We left and came back at 3:00 and got checked in. They said we were at the other end of the motel. When I asked if it was possible to get a room closer since I had just recent had hip surgery, they said they couldn’t . Whe we finally got to our room, it smelled like someone had been smoking in our room. We called to tell the front desk and they said people had been smoking in a room upstairs. The cleaning lady brought us a bottle of Fabre. Worst experience of my life. We will never return to this establishment!
