I will never staay in...

Liked: Breakfast was ok and the top floor bar was comfortable. The hotel is well located for exploring Reims and for getting out of town to visit the Champagne region.
Disliked: On arrival, we were allocated a standard room for one night. We had booked and paid for a queen bed room with balcony for 3 nights! There were no superior rooms available so we had to stay in the standard room. We were then moved to a junior suite with terrace for the last two days: the terrace was basically a smoking area with two metal chairs and a metal table. It had not been swept clean in days and was not cleaned during our stay.Repeated requests to speak to the manager were stonewalled: eventually I e-mailed her, but all my emails were directed to spam: an example of the Holiday Inn's views on customer service? She did eventually write to me and she did apologise. The only financial compensation offered was to charge for the standard room for the first night, rather than the superior room that they did not supply. The other compensation ((which cost them nothing) was to provide the junior suite with smoking area.I have since asked for details of senior management outside the Reims Hotel but this request too has been ignored.It's not about the initial mistake, its about how you recover from it.

Fantastic accommodation

Liked: Fantastic location—just a 5-minute walk from the central train station. The reception team was friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious and clean, easily accommodating two people with large luggage.
Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Great location / great motorcycle parking {underground} ,,, the bar and restaurant I’ve loved it.
Disliked: The shower was over the bath , next I’ll make sure it’s a shower cubicle,,
