Liked: A very good breakfast and really lovely staff.

Overall a good stay.

Liked: The entrance and lobby were clean and inviting. Our hotel room was clean and a housekeeper came in to clean, make the bed, replace towels, etc. each day. The restaurant food was good and the waitress was pleasant.
Disliked: Unfortunately the coffee we had in the welcome area and for breakfast in the restaurant was undrinkable! It had an unusual metallic taste. I told the clerk at the desk about it when we checked out. I hope they address this issue ASAP.

Exceptional

Liked: This hotel was located in a great area for getting into Portsmouth city (by car). It was clean, the staff was friendly. They even had a happy hour in their bar. Breakfast was not the standard hotel buffet. I ordered off a menu and it was delicious.
Disliked: Nothing that I can think of.

Liked: The beds were very comfortable and the pillows! I also loved the coffee machine so in the early morning I could have coffee in bed - bonus that the coffee was delicious. The room was cleaned and restocked for the following night and the vending machines and restaurant was convenient. My husband enjoyed the lounge/bar in the evening. I also loved the DOVE soaps provided. My favorite brand and scent. Those little things make a big difference at a hotel. I also loved the coffee in the lobby! I would absolutely stay again.
Disliked: I honestly liked everything. If I could change one thing, I wish our bathroom was a tad bigger. That was very minor though.
