Holiday Inn - Portland - Columbia Riverfront By IHG

I would not stay at this hotel again. To pay that kind of price per night to stay there and then to not have all of the amenities working is very disappointing.

Liked: Beautiful looking hotel.
Disliked: The TV did not work in our room. When we called the front desk, they said they would send someone up, but no one showed up.

Hotel was very nice & close to Expo Center where we were competing for the weekend. The ad said there was a complimentary breakfast & glass of wine at the end to the day. We travel with athletes & the breakfast is a factor in where we stay. When we checked in & asked they said its only for club level. I never saw that in the ad. That was disappointing & although it was a very nice hotel, for this purpose we won't be back.

Liked: Rachel was a wonderful asset to the restaurant. She was friendly knowledgeable and helpful. The front desk were delightful also.

Gorgeous place worth the value....

Liked: The view and location. It was amazing . The rooms were comfortable and big.
Disliked: The heat . There is not air conditioning in the hallways . Big spiders in doorways. Also staff for check in was the nicest I’ve ever interacted with. But the next morning g , rudest staff I’ve ever dealt with. Put me off from grabbing breakfast. She was so rude and unhelpful.

Liked: Had a room with a balcony and view of the Columbia River. The room was very nice and the beds were comfortable.
Disliked: It was a hike to get to the pool.

Liked: I liked that i had a balcony and a full view of the pool and the comfortable beds and the TV.
Disliked: I didnt like how the hot tub sign said capacity 7 yet almost 20 people were in it on my last night here so I didn't get to do that. I feel like it should've been handled.

Super fun family staycation vacation...

Liked: Great food! Super helpful and friendly staff! Spacious and well cleaned room, and well set up for a family of four. Amazing pool, we came for a “staycation pool vacation” as we live in Portland but wanted a vacation with a pool. We had so much fun in the pool!
Disliked: More signage in the hotel would be nice, it was a little hard to find our way around (elevator, ice, and pool access). Looked like a little mold on the tiling around the bathtub. Would be nice to have the option of a breakfast buffet as the restaurant took a long time for all our meals, but the food was excellent! Maybe if there was a way to put in our food orders online or over the phone and get an ETA so we wouldn’t have to wait so long?
