Holiday Inn Peterborough West

I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn. Lovely hotel in a very nice location. I will be staying there again.

Fine stay

Liked: The grounds were nice, reception area well-appointed, enjoyed the nature walk across the street next to the golf course.
Disliked: Room temperature was impossible to control. The rules for the pool were too restrictive. No lift to our floor, had to drag big bags up stairs.

Liked: It is run very professional and friendly by staff who seem to like their job.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Friendly staff. Great breakfast choice. Clean. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Big plus was having air conditioning in the rooms.
Disliked: Parking charges are too high considering it's location. We often pay less for daily parking in central York.

Disappointment compared to the first...

Liked: This was our 2nd visit the room and pool area are nice.
Disliked: The evening meal was awful, last time we stayed it was really nice. I feel I was overcharged for the room as the booking stated £45 towards food but this was bed and breakfast but kids eat free so unless it’s 45 for a breakfast I feel it was overcharged
