Just fix the ‘d…’ aircon

Liked: Only the location
Disliked: Air-conditioning. After we checked-in, we already felt the room was kind of warm. We thought the room hadnt cooled down as we turned the air-con to the lowest temp. When we came back at night, it was still the same. We asked front desk n they said some issue with aircon but couldnt change room coz full n they didnt have fan to offer. We were given free breakfast to compensate. We even saw customers checked out around midnight. Guess they couldnt stand the heat. That night, we need to open the window n I had to take off my clothes to sleep. The next day, we changed the room n at first it felt cool. But when came back at night, it was same as the day before. Then we knew all the hotel rooms were just the same. We stayed 2 more nights with open windows and without clothes on.This is the worst hotel stay we had.

Pleasant

Disliked: The hotel was under renovation and none informed us. Too many noises. The family room we booked was with two rooms but the air conditioning was not working in period with 40 degree Celsius.

Passable

Liked: The breakfast was good but the rest for sure is not a 4 star hotel. The AC is not good. They showed pics of fitness center and doesnt exist. Wasn't a good experience. Is a place for no recommendations

Disliked: Rooms are small. Air-conditioning is weak throughout the period and there was no air-conditioning for three nights

Staying at this hotel contributed...

Liked: Excellent location opposite the Gare de lest, handy transport options and Gare du Nord only 10 minutes walk away. Lots of reasonably priced eating places in the vicinity. The reception staff spoke excellent English and were friendly and good humoured.
Disliked: Nothing really, as a moderately priced hotel it fulfilled our requirements admirably.

Disappointing

Disliked: Inspite of booking an A/c room 3 months ago, we were allotted a room in which the A/c wasnt working and they refused to give us another room and wanted to compensate it with a free buffet breakfast. They said they could refund the entire amount and we could scout for another hotel. We had to manage with the heat in Paris as it was too late for us to go scouting for another hotel. The hotel finally have us a table fan.
