My stay was excellent and...

Liked: The front desk staff on arrival were friendly and very professional. Indeed the staff throughout my stay were great.
Disliked: There was nothing to complain about at all

Loved Ottawa and the Hotel...

Liked: Friendly, helpful staff, good parking, very central
Disliked: Nothing-the air con-thank goidness for it but it was quite loud-I’m not sure there is much the Hotel can do about this system though

Disliked: What I didn't like was that they told me I could leave my dogs in the room unattended, and that's what I did the first night. Around 10 p.m., they called me to tell me the dogs had been barking for over two hours and that they were going to call the police, but they chose to call me instead. Immediately returned to the hotel, and the next day I had taken the dogs with me since the morning and let them know at the front desk. At noon, I returned to the hotel to take a nap, and they called me again to tell me about the dogs.l barking the other night. While I understood their concern, and I agree with them, I didn't know that was going to happen with my dogs. I think they could have called me much earlier, and there was no need to call me again the next day if I had already taken the dogs with me. Otherwise, I have no complaints. The room was comfortable, clean, and nice, and all the employees were very friendly.

Overall, pleasant stay.

Liked: Great location. Walking distance to restaurants and sites.
Disliked: The street noise was pretty loud if you’re a light sleeper. Cars honking in the morning and people talking and yelling late at night.
