Holiday Inn Orlando Disney Spring Area, Lake Buena Vista

Staff was very nice and helpful. Great location for our concert and hotel was very clean.

Liked: Clean and roomy.
Disliked: Room was not cool enough.

OK but be aware of...

Liked: The property was relatively clean and the kids loved the pool. The room price is ok For the location.
Disliked: They charge a resort fee which is supposed to cover the shuttle bus to DW parks And other facilities in the resort. This is the first time we came across this in the US but now we realise it is common. Sorry, but this is ridiculous. Facilities in the hotel should be included in room price And even though we booked the shuttle to And from Magic Kingdom we were told our wait ON return would be 1 hour in the hot sun With 2 young kids even though we booked For the time we arrived so then we incurred an additional taxi fee. The property also didnt charge us correct amount in accordance With the booking And they are not being very helpful to explain charges. We were charged 2 amounts which dont line Up With the booking we made.

Easy to go to Disney...

Liked: Nice pool area close to Disney parks and shuttles function quite well.
Disliked: Only very small things like Rooms a bit dated and no smart TV.

Good hotel for early access...

Liked: Great transport to Disney World with close walking proximity to Disney Springs. Free coffee and tea each morning. Pool open till 11pm. Clean facilities.
Disliked: A couple of reception staff could have been better. They would not allow room access to my husband who arrived before me and vetoed one who was working to enable access. Another did not follow up on promised actions. Katherine was excellent as was her colleague and a gentleman on the night shift. Room cleaning was sporadic. Our room was not cleaned two days out of eight and occasionally when cleaned floor towels etc were missing.

Staff and room were great

Liked: Just ok; nothing special. We had a voucher for breakfast but if we had to pay the posted price ($24.95 pp) I would have been very upset.
Disliked: Eggs tasted processed and came out of the pan in a lump.
