Holiday Inn Oakville Centre

Would not recommend.

Liked: The staff were very kind and helpful.
Disliked: A lot of the building seems old and in need of repair or replacement. The pool was closed due to a leaking roof. The air quality inside the building was dusty and unpleasant. The air conditioning was loud and seemed to make the air quality worse, and the windows don’t open. I was glad I only had to stay one night.

Liked: Clean, quiet, very efficient and quick staff.
Disliked: The elevators being right outside our balcony door so we had to keep our curtains closed the whole time

Liked: Location was great. Clean washrooms. Comfortable beds.
Disliked: There was no complimentary breakfast.

Liked: Very poor choice of hotels in Oakville. Given the choices, I choose Holiday Inn because itis clean, and staff are wonderful.

Liked: I actually stayed for 7 nights, not 1. I booked each night separately in case I needed to cancel any, but I didn't. When I checked in, I was upgraded to the 6th floor because it had already been renovated, and renovations were still happening on other floors. So I had an extra-comfortable stay. All staff that I encountered were very helpful and pleasant. I didn't use the restaurant, so I can't comment on that.
Disliked: No negatives.

Pleasantly surprised. Will be back.

Liked: Walking distance to the GO train station. Kitchen was able to prepare a meal to order (vegan). Attentive staff.
