It did the job for...

Liked: The downstairs foyer was styled lovely and the staff were friendly.
Disliked: The beds were really uncomfortable especially the sofa bed. The window was open and had a broken off handle so couldn’t close it. The main lights in the room didn’t work. The toilet flush would stick sometimes. The cooked breakfast I would pass on. Especially the bacon as it was so tough it was inedible. Pancakes were cold. Eggs were inedible also.

A comfortable, quiet and pleasurable...

Liked: Very clean, bright and smiling attentive staff! Massive shout out to Amy! Believe she is based in the restaurant as we had her within our service for both breakfast and dinner. Nothing was too much trouble and make everything simple and easy and we had quite a few alterations to our mean due to my own allergies and my sons sensory diet needs.
Disliked: It’s very difficult to find even with the post code. There’s a lot of roadworks and closures which whilst I appreciate isn’t the hotels fault but we stayed 2 years ago and still have issues gaining access into where the hotel was located which makes it stressful right before arrival!

Fantastic Hotel & will stay...

Liked: Nice hotel & lovely staff. Great for kids & families. Clean restaurant & breakfast was tasty & plentiful, overall the food was great!
Disliked: No fridge in the room

Apart from the shower bath...

Liked: Clean, excellent restaurant
Disliked: Shower switch didn’t work and bath plug was missing, phone didn’t work. Plugged drain with towel in order to have a bath.

Exceptional

Liked: We stayed in a family room - plenty of space for a family of 4, very clean, everything we needed during our stay.Breakfast choice was great and all staff were extremely friendly, happy and helpful. Location of the hotel was great too.Thank you.

Good for what we needed,...

Liked: Location very close to event
Disliked: Traffic issues surrounding. Lack of staff - tried to eat earlier than booked and told not possible even though restaurant half empty. Prices for drinks too high.

Did the job

Liked: Reasonable pool, spa and sauna. Breakfast was well cooked and good quality unlike some buffets in other hotels Electric car charging on site was a big attraction and they actually worked but expensive (BP)
Disliked: Room was stuffy as window broken so unable to open and air con didn’t seem to do anything. Pillows very hard. Asked fur trim beds but got a double with double duvet. Hotel a little tired and dated looking
