It was like staying at...

Disliked: They had a maintenance issue and disconnected the water in the morning. Having no running water I attempeted to call reception using the phone in the room, only to find the cord that connected the reciever was unattaced and broken. After getting dressed and going downstairs to tell them their was no water, I was shocked to find out that they knew about it already and simply told me to wait 20 minutes. They eventually said it was restored, but neglected to tell me it was only the cold water that was now working. After a freezing cold shower I returned to reception only to eventually be offered a 10% discount on my booking, which I have still not recieved as I was billed in advance. The above is only one issue. In addition to there were issues at check-in and I was left waiting at reception for 30 minutes until they could check me in. Whilst staying I also ordered a meal and glass of wine to my room. A corked vinegary glass of wine was delivered to my room without food as they had misplaced my food order. Eventually the meal was delivered 30 minutes later, it was cold and had obviously been left standing for the whole time.If all that wasn't bad enough, the air-conditioning unit in the room was faulty and only blew out cold air whatever temperature it was set to. To compensate for this they left a retro plug in heater in the room that had only one temperature setting (scorching hot).
