I was disappointed when I arrived at the hotel. The lobby is nice enough, but my room and the halls themselves are very lacklustre. The bed was OK - it was obvious the linens were fairly old. The furniture in the room was arranged oddly. The night stand was not within reach of the bed, which was placed in the corner away from the obvious headboard where the bed was supposed to be on the wall. The TV was placed in the opposite corner. I had to turn and push it to the end of the dresser so that I could see it from the bed. There's a general odd smell to the hotel. The floor lamp in my room had a giant spider's web in it (with accompanying spider, yes). The room was just not in the greatest shape. I realize for the price I wasn't going to get bells and whistles, but it felt like the condition of the hotel beyond the lobby is neglected more than it should be. Also, while I was there I received a phone call at around 9 PM to my room from someone trying to get my card information. They claimed to be the general manager for the hotel. According to her they'd just updated their "system" and my card had been declined for incidentals. She needed to update my info to see if it was a glitch in the system due to this update. Thankfully I realized it was fishy and told her I would just come down to the lobby. This apparently happened to other people in the hotel as well. Be wary. Staff were very nice, though.

Disliked: Poor condition.

Unbelievably ridiculous experience: A door...

Disliked: The cleaning staff left my door unlocked and open. I don't know how long it had been open while I was out for 9 hours. It was only a miracle that nothing seemed to have been stolen.I was absolutely furious, especially since it was the day before the total solar eclipse and they had increased the price by more than $1000/night.

Liked: I liked that it was walking distance from Niagra Falls.
Disliked: The elevator smelled like pesticides, but I guess it's better than seeing bugs.I stayed on the 4th floor, which had a bad smell.The bathroom shower dripped Alll day & night. Which was very annoying at night.

Will never stay there again

Disliked: Room was old and dirty and you could hear everything and everyone from the room .door provided no quietness it was paper thin

Liked: Great staff, extremely comfortable bed and right next to the Falls and casino.
Disliked: Everything was excellent.

Liked: The room was wonderful with a clear view into Canada. We were also able to see some of the water from our room. It was just a short walk towards the falls.
Disliked: I wish breakfast was included.
