A great hotel for the Newcastle City Hall close by and easy to find - only takes 14 minutes to walk at a steady pace.
Liked: The room was brilliant and hotel staff really helpful.
Disliked: The mini bar was a bit expensive.

Great hotel Just needs better...
Liked: Breakfast was great! Room was nice however the bed was too firm. I requested a second duvet as a cushion. It didn’t really help. Other than that my stay was great
Disliked: The bed

Nice staff, comfy bed, quality...
Liked: Good breakfast, nicely cooked. Shame about the IHG ban on black pudding and haggis. That would have made a good breakfast excellent!! Both receptionists were fab. Very knowledgeable about the local area - and most helpful.
Disliked: Aircon was broken, so I had a free standing electric heater in the room instead. Cold inside my room at first, so it took me 30-40 minutes to get the room to a comfortable temperature (20 Deg. C?). Extractor fan also seemed to be broken - so you can expect a big build-up of black mould in the bathroom if you don't get it fixed very soon (room 230).
