Disliked: We booked this hotel for its location near the ferry, but didn’t expect to be kept awake by a full-blown party in the event space inside the building. At 10:40 PM, the music is still blasting, the DJ is shouting, and the bass is shaking the walls of our room.We spoke with the front desk twice. First at 9:45 PM—staff told us quiet hours begin at 10 and they’d ask the event to turn it down. Nothing changed. We called again, and a different staff member apologized and said he’d speak to them. Still no change.We were eventually told the event space is “run by the restaurant” and that the hotel has no control over it. That’s an unacceptable answer for guests who paid to sleep here. If the hotel can’t ensure quiet during posted quiet hours, they shouldn’t be operating overnight accommodations above an event venue. Horrible, do not stay here.
