Holiday Inn Montreal Centre Ville Downtown By IHG

This was the second time I stayed at Holiday Inn Montreal and I love the location - easy walk to old Montreal, 10 minutes or so, with a subway right across the road. Hotel is very clean and quiet. I would definitely stay there again.

Liked: Very clean; good location; front desk staff very courteous.
Disliked: $28.00 a night for parking - I think this is a little too pricey.

Clean and nicely decorated. Very much enjoyed our visit.

Disliked: Stair access was limited in the evening.

Liked: lovely clean room, generous clean towels for two, spacious washroom, plentiful hot water for shower, pool and hot tub warm and well-maintained, nice polite and friendly staff at the concierge desk.
Disliked: The elevator to the underground parking lot was out of order which caused stress for hotel guests. There was no signage for clarification downstairs or phone numbers for people with heavy bags down there with no staff support. We had to walk up the ramp with all our luggage (no carts down there) and out the vehicles only door which was a safety risk. Guests should have been offered more support around this safety issue. The cost per night is high in that area of Montreal so safety measures need to be at a high standard,

Liked: I really liked seeing the Koi Pond. It was amazing. The kids loved it.
Disliked: Nobody’s fault things happen. The elevator from parking was down. I’m in a wheelchair.

Disliked: Lifts were slow. 2 were in maintenance and remaining 2 were always busy.

Liked: Staff very helpful at check-in, good breakfast, room small but confortable for family with 2 adults and 2 kids. Location ideal for visiting Montreal, close to the old city and habour and next to a metro station
Disliked: Surrounding of the hotel (street, metro station) very dirty and unsafe at night, swimming pool and spa facility just average
