It was a nice hotel, moderately priced and only 10 minutes from Expo5 venue. I did call for an early check in time using the number listed on the website, 877 -xxx-xxxx - spoke to someone I thought was at the hotel and requested an early check in. I was told someone would call me when our room was ready the following day. We arrived the follwong day and realized I had made the reservation for the wrong day. I get the error was mine, but when I spoke to the phone rep she confirmed that my reservation was for the day I said, not what the actual reservation was for. Luckily the staff at the hotel was helpful and got us a room with in 15-20 minutes.

Liked: Close to venue; clean; very nice staff.
Disliked: Poor vending selection.

Could have been so much...

Liked: The pool for the kids was great
Disliked: My room was dirty has food around the trash can bathroom, sink was dirty look like it wasn't wiped out at all the tub was also dirty as well has hair in it, stains on wall by trash can, the ice machine waa broken on the floor they put us on and I booked 3 rooms its really difficult dealing with several things and trying have a party, pool was small, the breakfast was $12 it was too much and not enough food.

Satisfied with my 2 night...

Liked: Jupheena Hernandez, front office manager very helpful. Friendly and very accommodating. It's a pleasure to deal with someone that is able to resolve a minor issue. She helped to make or stay enjoyable.Breakfast was typical Holiday Inn fare.Location excellent if you're going to Churchill Downs.Restaurant & Lounge were good.Arbys next door.Cracker Barrell down the block.Small indoor pool.
Disliked: No luggage rack.Furniture was a little spartan.

Came for the National Archery...

Liked: Breakfast was nice every morning and the proximity to the Expo Center was the reason I chose this location.
Disliked: Wish I could have stayed longer and did more exploring.
