Holiday Inn Louisville Airport - Fair/Expo an IHG Hotel

It was a nice hotel, moderately priced and only 10 minutes from Expo5 venue. I did call for an early check in time using the number listed on the website, 877 -xxx-xxxx - spoke to someone I thought was at the hotel and requested an early check in. I was told someone would call me when our room was ready the following day. We arrived the follwong day and realized I had made the reservation for the wrong day. I get the error was mine, but when I spoke to the phone rep she confirmed that my reservation was for the day I said, not what the actual reservation was for. Luckily the staff at the hotel was helpful and got us a room with in 15-20 minutes.

Liked: Close to venue; clean; very nice staff.
Disliked: Poor vending selection.

Liked: Everything was clean and the staff were super nice! We enjoyed our visit and will recommend to others.

Disliked: Pretty old and worn out. Carpets dirty and fixtures well worn.Right next to approach to Louisville airport so a lot of loud aircraft very close to your window

Liked: We were missing our internet cable for the TV. Also didn't realize we would be paying for a regular hotel breakfast that is the same foods at free breakfast. Especially for spending as much as I did for the stay. It was clean and had a very convenient location for the Expo center I'm Louisville, but it also is an outdated holiday Inn.

Disliked: but the rest was disappointing, gym gear mostly broken. very noisy due to UPS planes hub next door.
